Your privacy is critically important to us. This privacy policy explains how Tempus Calc ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our iOS application.

The simple truth: We don't collect any data from you. Not your name, not your email, not your calculations, not anything. This policy exists to formally state that fact.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Tempus Calc does not collect, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal Information: No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact information
• Device Information: No device identifiers, IP addresses, or hardware information
• Usage Data: No analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics
• Location Data: No GPS, location services, or geographic information
• Calculation Data: Your saved calculations never leave your device
• Advertising Data: No ad tracking, cookies, or marketing data

How Your Data is Stored

All date calculations you save within Tempus Calc are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This means:

• Your data never leaves your iPhone or iPad
• No cloud storage or remote servers are used
• No internet connection is required for the app to function
• Your calculations are private to you and only accessible on your device
• Data is automatically deleted if you delete the app

Third-Party Services

Tempus Calc does not use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• No advertising networks
• No crash reporting services
• No social media integrations
• No payment processors (the app is free with no in-app purchases)

Internet & Network Access

Tempus Calc does not require internet access to function. The app:

• Works completely offline
• Makes no network requests
• Sends no data to any servers
• Does not communicate with external services

Children's Privacy

Tempus Calc does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we don't collect any data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Security

Since your calculations are stored only on your device and never transmitted anywhere, your data security depends on your device security:

• Use a strong device passcode
• Enable Face ID or Touch ID
• Keep your iOS updated to the latest version

We recommend using iCloud Backup to ensure your saved calculations are backed up with your other device data.

Your Rights

Since Tempus Calc does not collect any personal data, traditional privacy rights related to data access, correction, or deletion are not applicable. However, you have complete control:

• Data Deletion: Delete the app to remove all locally stored calculations
• Data Export: Your calculations remain on your device; no export is needed from our side
• Access Control: Only you can access your saved calculations through the app

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

If we ever change our data collection practices (which we have no plans to do), we will:

• Update this policy with clear explanations
• Notify users through the App Store update notes
• Require explicit consent for any data collection

App Permissions

Tempus Calc requests no special permissions from iOS. The app does not access:

• Camera or photos
• Contacts
• Location services
• Microphone
• Calendar (beyond displaying dates in the picker)
• Notifications
• Background app refresh

Compliance

This privacy policy is designed to comply with:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - European Union
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) - United States
• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) - United States
• Apple App Store Privacy Guidelines

Given that we collect no data, compliance with these regulations is straightforward: there is no personal data to process, store, or protect.
